The conference venue is in Seongbuk-gu, and in adjacent Dongdaemun-gu and Jung-gu, there are many hotels that are convenient to use for foreign visitors. (Seoul has 25 ‘gu’s.) You can make your own reservations by searching ‘Dongdaemun, Seoul, South Korea’ in booking websites.
We recommend area near Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), where a tourist information booth operates on the side of a boulevard and help visitors daily until midnight. DDP is 5 km from the conference venue.
Walking from the nearest subway station, ‘Sangwolgok(KIST) – Exit 4,’ to the conference auditorium takes around 15 minutes (5 minutes to the North Gate, and 10 minutes to the Johnson Hall).

The shuttle bus to the SPW conference(KIST) departs from each the Ramada and Novotel hotel at 9am on Monday. / at 8am on Tuesdays to Fridays.
